Introduction

Falcon Academy of Science & Technology is an open-pod school. There are many advantages to this unique setting: OPEN SPACE. Opportunities abound for flexible grouping to meet students' needs. People are aware of and support one another. Energy and enthusiasm flow throughout our school! Students can see where they came from last year and/or where they are headed next year! Professional sharing and collaboration abound! Always learning from others' classroom environments and strategies. Communication is easier without walls! Every student develops a sense of being part of something bigger than his/her own class!

Falcon Academy opened in November 1970 with an innovative open classroom design.  Approximately 500 students who reside in the neighborhoods in the north central area of the Brea Olinda USD attend Falcon Academy.  Set in the middle of a residential neighborhood, school boundaries include three condominium communities and several apartment complexes. Falcon Academy provides a number of services to meet the needs of our students, including RSP, SDC, SLP. ELL and GATE.
